Matt and Kate Newton lead The Way in Houston, Texas. Their passion is to build a church where people from every background can belong, grow, and experience real life in Jesus. A place where all can encounter Jesus and be transformed by His presence.
Their vision is simple but bold: to help others find their way to Jesus and step into a life shaped by Christ.
Their story has been formed in the local church and around the world. From serving missionary efforts to building lasting relationships across cultures, their heart for people everywhere continues to shape how they lead and love. Those experiences have given them a deep belief that Christ’s kingdom is bigger than any one place.
At home in Houston, they’re especially passionate about investing and helping others find purpose and community. When they’re not at church, you can find them exploring the city’s food and coffee scene, traveling somewhere new, or dreaming about their next trip.
Matt and Kate are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters who fill their home with joy, laughter, and a constant reminder of what matters most.
